Beachside holiday weekend with campfire cooking.
We had a weekend away, at a lovely beachside town called Hawksnest it is 3 hours drive from Sydney. There is beautiful unspoilt beaches and heaps of bush, with a local Koala population too.

My wife mentioned she had never been camping or cooked on an open fire, so i decided to do a little campfire cooking behind the beach in the bush.
We made our own Hamburger patties with minced beef, a little chopped onion, some herbs and a egg to hold them together. I built the fire and let it burn down a little to even out the heat, and then put on the frying pan with Hamburger patties, onion and mushrooms. 
Job done ; )

Yes it is very hard to find them in the bush - they are called 'Koala' and are not bears. Thanks very much for connecting and commenting , i really appreciate people who support my blogs.
