Other News
- Radar data collected by ESA’s Mars Express point to a pond of liquid water buried under layers of ice and dust in the south polar region of Mars. Well, probably best to land near there.
- Virginia Tech scientist: Yellowstone super-volcano eruptions were produced by gigantic ancient oceanic plate. " A theoretical seismologist, Zhou created X-ray-like images of the Earth’s deep interior from USArray – part of the Earthscope project funded by the National Science Foundation – and discovered an anomalous underground structure at a depth of about 250 to 400 miles right beneath the line of volcanoes. " Well in theory.
- Flooding in Santa Fe ‘a 1,000-year event’. Makes you wonder what other events that cycle around at 1,000 or more years are coming.
