this is one of the hand-painted clothes I made for my friends especially from outside Banda Aceh city, with the theme kutaraja another name from the city of Banda Aceh.

ini salah salah satu baju lukis tulis tangan yang saya buat untuk kawan-kawan khususnya dari luar kota Banda Aceh, dengan tema kutaraja nama lain dari kota Banda Aceh.

The word plesetan often spoken to migrants from the village who rush to the city to complain his fate but not accomplished, in my opinion .. !!, maybe others.?, Another meaning that is conveyed.

(Pergi lagi ke Banda Aceh, enggak ada tempat duduk berdiri pun jadi )
Kata plesetan yang sering di ucapkan untuk pendatang dari desa yang terburu-buru ke kota untuk mengadu nasibnya tapi tidak kesampaian, menurut saya..!!, mungkin orang lain.?, lain lagi makna yang disampaikan.
Indeed Banda Aceh is busy every year visited by migrants and tourists probably because of the city of Banda Aceh as the center of Government, Education, politics, all kinds of economic, social and cultural center in Aceh.
Banda Aceh before 1962 still holds the name of Kuta Raja.
The name of king's city was proclaimed by Dutch East Indies Governor Van Swieten. The name change was made on January 24, 1874 after the Dutch managed to occupy the palace after the fall of the sultanate of Aceh.
Kutaraja established the Netherlands is the first step of the Dutch effort to eliminate and destroy the gloriousness of Kerajaanaan Aceh Darussalam. The change of name was then ratified by the Governor-General in Batavia with a date dated March 16, 1874. (data: Balee Angen).
Memang Banda Aceh tiap tahunnya ramai di kunjungi oleh para pendatang dan wisatawan mungkin karena kota Banda Aceh sebagai pusat Pemerintahan, Pendidikan, politik, segala macam sentral Ekonomi, Sosial dan Budaya di Aceh.
Banda Aceh sebelum tahun 1962 masih menyandang nama Kuta Raja.
Nama Kuta Raja diproklamirkan oleh Gubernur Hindia Belanda Van Swieten. Pergantian nama itu dilakukan pada 24 Januari 1874 setelah Belanda berhasil menduduki istana setelah jatuhnya kesultanan Aceh.
Kutaraja didirikan Belanda adalah sebagai langkah awal Belanda dari usaha penghapusan dan penghancuran kegemilangan Kerajaaan Aceh Darussalam. Pergantian nama itu kemudian disahkan oleh Gubernur Jenderal di Batavia dengan beslit yang bertanggal 16 Maret 1874.( italicdata : Balee Angen ).
