Hello friends, I hope you all are well. So, let’s begin today’s diary.

As usual, I woke up this morning and made myself a herbal drink (kadha). After it was ready, I consumed it.

After drinking the kadha, I went to the park for exercise. I did around 15 minutes of jogging, followed by 45 minutes of exercise, before heading back home.

Upon reaching home, I made a phone call to my family and wished the children a Happy Children’s Day. Today is Children’s Day, a special day dedicated to children in our country.

Children's Day Celebration 🎉

While speaking with my family, I learned that my brother planned to take the kids to the city of Prayagraj. They would visit a children’s park, where they could play and have fun, followed by a special meal of their choice. Though mothers always prepare delicious home-cooked food, today’s kids often prefer outside snacks.

Organising some activities and food

I also spoke with some of my teacher friends who teach school children and organize special programs for them. They told me that they shared stories about the significance of this day and arranged games and activities, along with a special meal for the children.

Call with my family

Hearing about all of this made me feel very good. When I reached the office, I wished everyone a Happy Children’s Day. Even though we are no longer children, it is important to keep the child within us alive because a childlike heart helps us enjoy life to the fullest — that’s what I believe.

So, I wished my colleagues and, in the evening, I treated everyone with a small celebration. My friend Parth and I ordered pizza and puff pastries for everyone. This served as both a treat for Children’s Day and a little celebration of our work anniversary.

Tasty Dhokla

In the afternoon, I was feeling hungry at the office, so Ajay and I went out to eat some dhokla. I ordered a plate of dhokla for myself, which was delicious. After eating, I felt a bit better and then returned to the office to resume work.

Enjoying the beauty night with friends at coffee shop

We ended up ordering a bit more than we needed, leaving five extra packets, which I took home. Later, Ajay and I enjoyed those together. Then, we went out for coffee to a shop called “Don’s Corner,” where we sat and drank coffee until around 4 a.m. At midnight, I wished Parth a happy Guru Nanak Jayanti, and he wished me a happy Ganga Dussehra. We even burst a few leftover crackers from Diwali during our time there.

We sat through the night, chatting about various things. When it was time to burst the crackers, we realized we didn’t have any matchsticks to light them. So, we bought matchsticks from a nearby stall. After a long time, I noticed that the price of matchsticks had increased to ₹2; it used to be ₹1 before.

Fresh Fishes 🐟

This morning, I woke up very late, and all of us had planned to take chicken curry today. So, Listrin and I got up and went to the chicken shop, where we ordered chicken leg pieces and boneless chicken.

Prawns

I noticed that the shop also had fish and prawns, which looked really excellent. I felt like canceling the chicken order and getting fish instead, but we ended up taking the chicken and returned home to start cooking it.

So this was my diary. I hope you liked it. See you in the next diary!
