Watching urban sunset and people desperation

Hello Friends, Hope you all are well and enjoying your time.

Today is Friday. Unlike other countries we have the holiday on Friday. So, today was my weekend. My entire family members are on vacation and I am staying alone in Dhaka. As I am staying alone from last few days, I have the time and freedom to roam around wherever I want. So, I went to my younger brother’s house to see my sick mother. Today her health it much better than earlier. It was evening time and the sun was setting in western sky. The red ray of sun was spreading as far as the sight can reach. It was beautiful to watch. I took my mobile and captured the nice view.

Besides the sunset view I would like to highlight another important topic through this post which you already found in the heading of this post. While I was driving my car, found a lot of people were roaming around the city for different purpose. Some people were rambling without any reason and others were coming from office who enjoy the holiday on Sunday. The alarming matter is most of them were not maintaining the minimum safety precautions to protect themselves from deadly Corona Virus.

Today also there were 39 new virus deaths, taking the total to 3,861 and the new infected number is 2,401. As per my observation these numbers are not the actual because the number of tests have been reduced drastically. People are not willing to do tests now a days. The way people were moving around, it seemed to me that there are no Corona Virus in the country. They were not maintaining the social distances and not even wearing the masks.

The reason could be the less death rate from this virus. But they are not realising that one person death from a family means 100% for them. This is an irreparable loss for that family. Although it seems that we have to live with this deadly virus until the vaccine reaches to our country, but we have to maintain minimum safety precautions so that no individual or family looses their beloved ones.

However, urban sunset could be more enjoyable if there were no high rise buildings around. But practically that is not possible and we are used to observe sunset through the buildings. I have shared few pictures in this post. Hope you have enjoyed.
