Nice pic!
One of my favorite memories from my youth was fishing in the Beartooth mountains (Montana).
I was there as a young college student, doing research on aquatic insects (stoneflies, caddisflies etc.). our professor was a cool guy and when we had finished research we could hike, camp, and fish.
We went up to the high lakes (probably 2500-3000 meters or so--I think). Fish were really biting and we basically ate fresh fish every night and morning in camp.
Was a wonderful experience if you ignore the mosquitoes. I don't think I have ever seen so many mosquitoes in my life (saying a lot because I come from a very swampy hot area). I remember one of my friends had a baseball cap with words on it. Looking over at him, I couldn't even read the words on the cap because they were covered by mosquitoes!
Good times! Your picture brings back all of those memories because the terrain looks very similar.
Oh, I am so glad that my photo brings some sweet memories. I was never a fish guy. I remember that my father tried a couple of time to hook me on fishing, but I was bored to the death every single time so he finally gave up :)
