Good morning colleagues, I am in high spirit this morning. To be raised into leadership position comes with a lot of benefits and also a huge responsibility to deliver. A leader knows the way goes the way and shows the way. Leadership comes with foresight and vision. If you wkrks with humans, then there is a huge tash to accomplish. This is because each has his or her person trait.

  • These benefits are just tip of the iceberg looking at the quantum of workload leaders do daily. I happened to serve as a moderator for steem-ghana sometime ago and i could hardly get enough time for my family.

  • This is a task we have chosen to perform to help members grow together. I registered as a steemian not knowing anything, I doubts about the use of the daily activities and where these funds or resources comes from which we receive as rewards. But i was consistently made aware of how decentralised steemit is.

  • In reality Steemit isn't decentralised as we think, if you don’t know anybody, you will suffer and feel frustrated and never come back. Its not that, people are not consistent on the platform but their accumulated grievance and lack of recognition when they make quality posts but always overlooked when it comes to internal rewards. Sad true here.

  • Steem-ghana is old enough but things have fallen apart.A community that came into existance long before some communities over here. But what do we see? Ghe umbrellas of steem-ghana have broken to pieces. Back then, people walked miles, did research, went to radio station to make promotions, but will make a post and not even a piece of an ants will be given as votes but looking at some particular people, their posts consistently recieves upvotes. It amazes you when you feel, what they have written cannot match use when you are looking for quality but quality in itself is relative.

This someway furns table when their fellow leader who supports them is not in power. The particular group thast receive help rest on their laurels because theg think what happened to others may happen to them.

  • This act of favouritism and nepotism discourages people from posting especially when that person is not receiving upvotes from @steemcurator01. The person will then transfer the little he has not may not return. Its not as if people don’t like investment, but when others are enjoying to the detriment of others, then it better to pack out.

  • Leaders are supposed to help other grow along but looking at the years gone by, you could feel, some people get hurt when you receive upvotes from curators. Unnecessary comments when it could have been down back door or politely. Most stabbing at thd back in the Ghanaian community.

People also think, they are bosses and owners of the platform and choose to do whatever they want. Sometimes, people have to be calling leadership for booming votes on our WhatsApp platforms. This is not supposed to be so. We rewards should be fiven equally or to thise who really deserve. Those of us who don't complain will remain mute and walk away. I do halfway pitty @juzkid. This is because he has a lot of task to accomplish. I could say more but i do not want my account not to see votes again and be a scarecrow to some individuals. I therefore employ the steemit Team to frequently check on steem-ghana community especially @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 so as to lessen the burden of leadership for @juzkid.

Please i would be grateful if these questions are answered if there is an answer;

  • Why is the new Country Representative labelled Moderator?

  • Is the @steem-ghana account for steemit or specific individuals. If it belongs to an individual then indirectly certain individuals are still reps whilst not in leadership. A hold words because i do not want a scarecrow account.

If we want bring all on board then, there must conscious efforts to change from the old ways and share rewards according to who deserves.

You have shared a whole lot. These points are lucid. I don't really know you knew about some of these things. I am understanding more about the platform and making enough inquires and finding solutions. It is good attention is drawn towards some of these things.

Why is the new Country Representative labelled Moderator?

The master key for the community lies with @njaywan and i have contact him concerning the label, he promised to work on it and so the best i can do is wait.

Is the @steem-ghana account for steemit or specific individuals. If it belongs to an individual then indirectly certain individuals are still reps whilst not in leadership. A hold words because i do not want a scarecrow account.
