Finally, the email to voice beta....or not

So after 7 days, block.one has sent out emails telling people that they would soon be let into the voice.com website.

A very sneaky move by them really, considering that this was supposed to be one of the most anticipated product in the crypto world.

As far back as June 2018, Dan larimer had made mention of steemit 2.0, a revolutionary idea that was going to take the bad away from steemit and create an all new improved system.

It was promised to arrive around Dec 2018 unofficially, then came the news that it would arrive early 2019, then an official announcement that it would be unveiled around the June 1 Eos event.

Now I'm not saying it's bad or that block.one is fraudulent, no, not at all, they have been very professional in their approach and way of doing things.

What I speak about is the fact that they continue to delay this supposed killer.

Perhaps, the more amusing aspect is the fact that the community doesn't seem bothered at all by any of this.

We have been expecting SMTs for a while now and had gotten weary of the steemit Inc team and their ability to deliver.

What then is the difference and why do people have confidence in block.one even after they failed, somewhat, to put forward a product?

By all indications, users were supposed to be able to sign up and start using voice.com begining June 1, but here we are, June 8th, with only an email that came 8 days after sign-up.

Difference between steemit Inc and block.one

The major differences between steemit Inc and block.one is their track records and the way they present facts and updates.

While block.one has always been communicating with their users, the steemit team only recently started doing so, this is a big difference, as communication is one key element to having a sustainable user base.

The next is the fact that block.one has delivered on promises in the past, launching the Eos blockchain around June last year, as well as steadily releasing updates, following witnesses and pushing for a better ecosystem.

These things make a lot of differences that cannot be ignored.

As the launch date for voice.com beta comes closer, I can't help but feel that were entering into a new era of social media interactions.

Communication is still a problem of Steemit, they make their announcement
in some posts were decisions made already but they don't communicate directly, a big minus, and they not discuss any decisions they made.
Got the confirmation mail as well.
Have a nice weekend

Yes indeed sir, I noticed that, still a lot of lack of communication in discord and every other media out there.

At least a weekly AMA would have been perfect or something, if it's an issue of staffing, well then throw it out to the community and there should get a lot of individuals willing to collect even $100 per month to do this work.

I personally think Dan and his team are trying everything possible to release a product without glitches thats why it has delayed for a while. I think signing up for early adopters is an error because people will be able to get the tokens first which is similar to premining. its like starting a race and giving someone a headstart. I havent received an email yet and hope i will be considered as one of the early adopters

Hmm, I think they are just having issues with sending the email, no doubt a lot people on the Eos blockchain would want to get in fast....
