My Sculpture: A Japanese Tengu Demon
Good Day Guys!
Unfinished Tengu air dry clay sculpture. Painted with acrylic and poster paints. Sculpture skeleton are gunpla runners.
Making the base + the Tengu's feet. No foliage? Tea and salt will do haha. Not done painting.
I think these colors for the base are okay for now. Just need to get yellow and green paint too to finish it off. Feet are still uncolored. Tengu's feet are gonna be red like his face, his slippers should be yellowish (like Luffy's Strawhat) but I don't have the paint for it yet.
Waiting for the clay on the stand to dry so I can attach Tengu to its feet. It will break if there's nothing supporting him since the skeleton aren't connected at all and the clay is brittle. Will have to wait till tomorrow before I can add more clay to the support's top end to hold the body properly. Anyway, I'm out of super glue too.
Tengu is going great so far. Just finished attaching it and beefing up the legs. Needs mo volume on the left thigh and knee part. After painting the legs and feet I should start with the waist decor (cloth and belt). We should see the arms too, maybe before the week ends. Can't tell you how afraid I am just thinking about the wings!
Did some cloth and damn this was hard! I'm still not finished with this piece though - since this is technically my first sculpture (whole body), I still don't know how to do everything yet and it might take some time. I also don't have enough materials to finish this yet.
