Photomanipulation: Building a Tower!
Good day guys! The photograph above isn't real at all, that's called a composite photo or a photomanipulation, aka photoshopped image. I used 2 photos for this work. Both were captured by me with my Fujifilm X-T20 plus kitlens. I used Photoshop CC to make the edits.
We started off with picking a background photo. I used a sunset photograph I captured from our rooftop for this. This is already a cropped photo.
Then I got the building out of the 2nd photograph by erasing its surroundings in photoshop.
After that, I duplicated that building and changed its perspective using the distort/perspective/resize options in Photoshop. This was a pretty hard task because force-asigning a perspective on an image is mostly trial and error.
I did the same thing for the 3rd part of the tower. This one already has a new cloud overlay using the same photo in the background. So that its reflecting the 'right' sky.
I also applied the same technique for the overlay on the 2nd part of the building.
As well as on the first part at the very bottom so that everything looks the same.
By the way, below are the original photographs I've used for this work. As you can see this building is surrounded by other ones which I erased from the picture. And the original building is only made up of 3 sections, whereas the tower I made had 9 sections on it.
This was the original photograph of the background photo, I did not photoshopped the airplane in this photo. A lot of airplane passes by on that area since we're kind of near the airport.
Here are the other versions of the final photograph after I used a mobile app called VSCO cam on it:
Idol! Pwede maging design ng building yung ginawa mo sir. Ang ganda pa nung pagkasunset + the edit. Pink skies.
Thanks ng madami! Sana nga pinataas pa nila e. :D Ako na lang nagpataas haha.
This one is cool Dev. Now it looks like one of those in the sci-fi movies.
Omg! Very neat nag pagkakagawa!
Salamat! :D
