Sego Pecel Bu Broto, Indonesia

If talked about veggie, Indonesian has some authentic veggie dishes. One of the popular one is Sego Pecel (This is a Javanese which means nasi pecel in Indonesian or in English, Pecel Rice). Pecel is a kind of Indonesian dish which contains many boiled vegetables (such as beansprouts, spinach, long green bean, and some other) and it served with peanut paste. The peanut paste usually tasted so good with the smell of orange’s leave there.

Now i would like to share with you a food stall which sell Sego Pecel. It is Bu Broto Pecel, which located in an emergency food court in 6th floor Blok M Plaza, South Jakarta. I said emergency, because it is only temporary and they will move to the new renovated food court on 5th floor.
This is how the surrounding. It’s not crowded yesterday afternoon because of the holy month. It was quite clean and neat.

The food stall which sold sego pecel. Actually they also sold fried chicken, salted egg and empal meat. And they also sold es cendol for the dessert.

We ordered sego pecel and also es cendol (cendol Ice)

The food that we ate, sego pecel. It tasted delicious, tasty and a bit spicy. It also served with rempeyek (Indonesian authentic chip with some peanuts).

This is cendol ice. Always tasted delicious and served with coconut milk. Tasted sweet and tasty.
