Kenduri Apam (Tradisi yang masih membudaya) | Kenduri Apam (A tradition that is still entrust)
Kenduri Apam merupakan tradisi yang sudah ada sejak zaman Kesultanan Aceh Darussalam, menurut cerita dulunya Kenduri Apam ini diadakan untuk mendoakan Almarhum yang sudah meninggal dunia dengan cara mensedekahkan Apam (Sejenis Kue Serabi) yang sudah disediakan oleh keluarga almarhum disedekahkan kemesjid di hari Jum'at untuk dikendurikan kepada para Jama'ah selesai Shalat Jum'at.
Namun menurut pendapat para leluhur adapula yang mengatakan Kenduri Apam bermula dijadikan sebagai hukuman disuatu desa di Aceh bagi para kaum laki-laki yang tidak pergi ke Mesjid di hari Jum'at selama tiga hari berturut-turut. Sehingga diwajibkan membawa Apam untuk di kendurikan bagi para jama'ah shalat Jum'at agar para lelaki tersebut merasa malu dikarenakan diketahui tidak shalat Jum'at agar kedepan mereka tidak mengulangi hal yang sama dikemudian harinya.
Sejarah Kenduri Apam ini sendiri bermula di tanah Arab, ketika itu ada seorang sufi bernama Abdullah Rajab yang meninggal dunia, namun karena sufi tersebut hidup sebatang kara dan tidak memiliki siapa-siapa untuk berkenduri padanya, sebagai inisiatif masyarakat setempat berkenduri untuk mendoakannya dengan mengadakan Kenduri Apam.
Bagi masyarakat Aceh tradisi kenduri Apam tidak asing lagi, bahkan dalam Almanak Aceh (Kalender Aceh) ada yang namanya Buleuen Apam (Bulan Apam) yang biasanya jatuh pada bulan Rajab di kalender Hijriah untuk menyambut Isra' Mi'raj.
Apam sendiri terbuat dari campuran tepung gandum, santan, air putih, dan garam serta sedikit gula pasir. Untuk membuat apam, tepung gandum dan garam diaduk dalam keadaan kering. Setelah itu tambahkan santan serta air putih. Kemudian diaduk lagi hingga menjadi adonan cair. Setelah masak Apam disajikan dengan Parutan kelapa dan gula agar lebih enak ketika dimakan nantinya.
Hari Jum'at yang lalu keluarga saya menggelar Kenduri Apam di rumah Almarhumah nenek saya di Gampong Teungoh Sawang Aceh Utara sebagai Kenduri untuk memperingati 15 hari sudah meninggalnya beliau. Setelah selesai disiapkan kenduri Apam kami antarkan ke Mesjid untuk disedekahkan kepada para jama'ah Jum'at sebagai Kenduri untuk medoakan beliau.

Kenduri Apam is a tradition that has existed since the time of the Sultanate of Aceh Darussalam, according to the story formerly Kenduri Apam was held to pray for the deceased who died in an alms Apam (a kind of Kue Serabi) which has been provided by the deceased family charities for the audience Friday Prayers.
However, in the opinion of their ancestors who said Kenduri Apam started as a punishment in a village in Aceh for the men who did not go to the mosque on Friday for three days in a row. So required to bring Apam to the slack for the jama'ah prayers Jum'at, so that the men feel embarrassed because it is known not to pray on Friday so in the future they does not repeat the same thing in the future.
The History of Kenduri Apam originated in the Arab lands, when a Sufi named Abdullah Rajab died, but because the Sufi lives alone and has no one to drive to him, as the initiative of the local community to pray for praying by holding Kenduri Apam .
For the people of Aceh, tradition of kenduri Apam is no stranger, even in Almanak Aceh (Aceh Calendar) there is called Buleuen Apam (Apam Mounth) which usually falls on Rajab in Hijri calendar to welcome Isra 'Mi'raj.
Apam it self is made from a mixture of wheat flour, coconut milk, water, and salt and a little sugar sand. To make the apam, wheat flour and salt are stirred in a dry state. After that add the coconut milk and water. Then stirred again until it becomes liquid dough. After cooking Apam served with grated Coconut and sugar to make it more delicious when eaten later.
Last Friday my family held Kenduri Apam at my grandmother's house in Gampong Teungoh Sawang Aceh Utara as Kenduri to commemorate her 15 days had passed away. After the preparation we bring to the Mosque to be distributed to the jama'ah Jum'at as kenduri to pray for her.
Bagaimana steemian, pernahkan anda memakan APAM ACEH ?!! Ini salah satu makanan tradisional yang secara turun temurun masih dilestarikan sampai sekarang di Provinsi Aceh, Indonesia.
How about steemian think ?! have you ever eaten APAM ACEH? !! This is one of the traditional foods that are hereditary still preserved until now in Aceh Province, Indonesia.
