Morning Thoughts: Still Can't Believe We Created This Perfectly Beautiful Human Being

in #life7 years ago (edited)

After 5 weeks I still cannot believe we created this completely perfect human being. I can watch her sleep all day long. Is it bad to have your one month old sleep in the bed with you throughout the morning? Call me crazy, but I love it!

She is 20 times more comfortable, does not cry one bit, and I feel 50 times more alert while she is sleeping. She does sleep in her bassonette all night long...but when it comes to the 3 or 4 hours left in the morning, sleeping with us has been the ultimate win.My fiancé Nikki is especially happy during the mornings.

I know it is not statistically the safest thing in the world to have a baby sleep in the bed with you. But obviously it is our own story and our own way of doing things...and a couple extra hours under watch is always fine.

  • What does anybody else think?
  • Is it safe?
  • Would you want to wake a lil princess like that Up?

I hope all of my Steemit friends and followers enjoyed my quick blog. Everybody have a great Tuesday, and count every blessing at the end. Steem On please:)

I have 2 kids. My first we done everything by what others said to do.. big mistake! My second we did what I wanted. We are happily sharing a bed from sun down to sun up. We nurse all night and I never have to leave the bed. Its so much easier! We all get plenty of sleep now. Our 3 year old sleeps in his bed, but will sometimes join us in the big bed. Just make sure you have time set aside for your fiancee. My husband and I always make time for us. Good luck on your journey as a father!

Okay, I'm glad there else that did this and more! So we will be much happier to have her in bed with us! Especially for nursing it will be very nice:) Thankyou...it has been an exciting journey so far, and I hear it stays exciting lol

If your fiancee is nursing the best thing for her to learn is side lay nursing! It is a life saver. I am almost 11 months into my breastfeeding journey with our 2nd son and its been such a breeze.

It is exciting and well worth every struggle you face. The greatest words you'll hear one day is I love you dad!

Thankyou for the advice! She just started doing that like 2 days ago, so I'm happy we are on the right track. Those words will be awesome to hear one day:)

Nothing like it! Ya it all depends ive seen people on both extremes. We were rather cautious and our son didnt sleep in our bed too much. Nothing like parenthood!

We go back and forth on it! But I like hearing other perspectives from actual people not just articles, But there really is nothing like it at all:)

very nice, i just upvoted your post, please vote for my post and follow me! :)
