The importance of the family to a functional society

If there is anything or anyone we can put our whole trust in, it is in our family. It shows us what is right, indicates the best ways, and gives us true and unconditional love. A family in harmony, which loves each other, remains united for a lifetime. And this is also the first factor of its importance for life: to be a source of example for all generations, inspiring the formation of new families.

It is also in the family environment that we know our first values ​​and receive the first social rules. We learn to perceive the world, we begin our identity and we are introduced to the process of socialization. That is why it is so common for us to behave as one who created us, like our parents and grandparents, bringing very similar personality traits and attitudes.
We must not forget that each one has a fundamental role in the home, where there are rights and duties, and everyone must fulfill their obligations. Therein comes mutual respect, consideration for the elders, the household chores, the daily duties. There are situations where all day-to-day responsibilities and home services are borne by the mother, the children blame the parents for not being able to present them with what they want or the brothers live in disagreement. In these cases, the family remains in disharmony, overloading only one member, making the union of the home and the family structure unstable.

The demise of a society is the demise of the families. Strong families make strong and functional societies.
