Allow me to introduce myself

Hello Steemit community! It's great to finally meet you :) Take a seat and get comfortable, let me tell you a bit about myself...

My screen name is disl8r, 29 year old self employed cryptocurrency trader from Australia.
I love animals, fast cars and good food. I look good in a suit.

I grew up in a shit suburb with shit backstabbing people. That I learned a lot from. Since I was 13 I learned my street smarts by being in situations I didn't necessarily want to be in because that's just how it was here. Unless I was at home with my parents I was always at risk whether it be from other kids on the street, or police. At that time I was easily influenced and did my share of stealing from shops and boosting cars. Everything I saw and did taught me lessons I am grateful for, and it shaped me into the person I am today.

I left home at 15 because a girl I just hooked up with was moving. Young, stupid love. That relationship lasted 4 years and ended with her cheating on me. I left and got a dog. Most loyal friend I've ever fucking had.

During those 4 years I completed a Diploma of Multimedia which I achieved very high marks for, so I tried to use these skills freelancing to no avail. I wasn't ready to compete with that market at that time although I received a few odd jobs. I knew I was too intelligent to be stacking steel in a factory, and I think it was at that point I started working with Anonymous.

I was a photographer most of the time, running up and down the street with my camera to show the world our protests and why we stood in the sweltering heat behind plastic faces for hours at a time. When I wasn't doing that, I was helping out wherever I could on AnonOps IRC. I also managed to meet a beautiful girl during one of our meets, everything was looking good. I felt like I was contributing, ya know?

That relationship was the most intense thing I ever went through in my life. It was the most beautiful and the most toxic. Couldn't live without her, couldn't live with her. You know how it goes... I hope not. Anyway, here we both were doing our Anon thing together when I might've went too far one day and DDoS'ed the AFP. Yeah uhh my bad... They came into my girlfriends house one morning and got us out of bed so we could go through what I did, why I did it and why I'm a naughty boy. I was facing 13 years for a Commonwealth offence.

At that point our little Anon group was falling to shit anyway, new people coming in with their whiny crap making it personal, and I decided to leave it to them for a while and enjoy some other areas of life...
I received a call about 6 months later announcing I wasn't being charged but to be a good boy from now on. I was pleased to say the least and I've been a good boy ever since ;)

My relationship started to fail at that point though, the beautiful shit show that it was. I was cheated on again, but it was long dead before then. We both could have done better. It was a difficult break up, nay, it was hell. I almost broke my ankles jumping off her 2nd story balcony after swallowing a sheet of Valium and a cask of port. Fuck that, man. Fuck that shit.

So this is where I started to focus on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I decided it was time to improve on another area in my life I wasn't very good at; money.

Now I spend a lot of my time in front of a computer screen and when I'm not babysitting my trades I like to spend my spare time with the small circle of friends I allow inside the 16 ton steel re-enforced concrete barrier I built to keep crackheads and gold diggers out. PS4 and bong hits or a few drinks by the fire is usually the gee oh.

I learned that I prefer it that way instead of going out on LSD, MDMA and cocaine to a club to jump around like an idiot and kiss random girls while cops stared at me from 15 metres away. Sure it was fun and all, but it felt empty and pointless after a while.
Now while you're out fucking Stacey, I'm making $$$.

No it's not my Lambo, but if I stay on track a Lambo is on the cards. One day...
I have goals, I have drive and I'm intelligent. I can do this shit, bro.
