Sword design / 剣を描いてみました

There was a weapon designing lesson among the many lessons provided by Palmie, the Japanese online drawing lesson website.
So, I thought it would be fun to take it.
It is great to know that there are many different ways and styles even just to do lineart.
I’m always trying to make my lineart even and clean but this instructor was using a brush that makes the lineart uneven to give the artwork a more interesting look.
I don’t know how to customize my own brush like this instructor but I downloaded the brush that is kind of like the in between of airbrush and coloured pencil brush to do my lineart today.
Although uneven lines on my drawing come from my very steady hand haha but I really like this brush!!!
This is my very first time drawing a sword and I really enjoyed drawing it.

今、受講しているパルミーのお絵描きレッスンの中に、武器デザイン入門というものがあったので観てみました。
興味深いレッスンでした。
線画ひとつ取っても色んなスタイルで描いて良いんですね。
私は今まで線画をキレイにまっすぐ描くように努めていたのですが、このインストラクターの方は、イラストに味を出すためにわざわざ線画に太いところと細いところが出来るブラシを使っていました。
私はまだ自分でブラシをカスタマイズ出来ないので、今回は良さそうなブラシをダウンロードして使ってみました。
エアブラシと色鉛筆ブラシの中間のようなブラシです。
けれど、この素晴らしいヨレヨレの線はこのブラシのせいではなく、私の素晴らしくブレない？手のおかげです、笑
このブラシ、今後も活躍しそうです。
初めての剣、描いていてとても楽しかったです。
また描いてみたいと思います。
