Happy Caturday!

Pepper came to our familly 5 years ago when she was about 5 months old.
We adopted her from the local SPCA.
She is a very gentle and quiet kitty.
She twitches/quivers her tail with her tail up when she sees us.
We were worried about the twitch that she makes for a while.
It wasn’t a aggression nor hunting gesture.
She looks happy when she does it but we were worried for possible illness.
My husband who grew up with many cats hasn’t seen anything like it but we found out that the cats twitch/quiver their tail when they are excited to see you.
Pepper just does it a lot.
She has many nicknames and one of them is Twitchytail ;)

ペッペーが我が家に来て5年になります。
生後5ヶ月くらいの時に、近くのSPCA（動物虐待防止協会）から我が家に迎えました。
今も変わらず優しくて、とても静かなニャンコです。
ただ私たちがそばに行くと、しっぽを上げてプルプルさせます。
猫に囲まれて育った旦那ちゃんも見たことがないと言うので、これが何を意味しているのか分からず、しばらく心配しました。
ハンティングをしているわけでもなければ、攻撃的な様子もなく、むしろ嬉しそうに見えるのですが、何かの病気かも？？？
いろいろと調べた結果、ニャンコは誰かに会えて嬉しい時この行動をすることが分かりました。
ペッパーは物凄く頻繁にしっぽをプルプルさせるみたいです^^; 常に嬉しいんですね。私も嬉しいです^^
ペッパーにはいろんなニックネームがありますが、そんなこともあって、Twitchytail（トゥイッチーテール…Twitchy ＝ ピクピク動く、Tail ＝ しっぽ）…と言うのがニックネームの一つになっています。

Today, I’ll tell you the trick to get cats to look at camera when both of your hands are occupied trying to take photos.
You can see Pepper looking down but she is aware of me calling her name in this photo.
Her ears move every time I call her to look up but she won’t look up.
I’ll be able to take such a cute photo of her sitting in the box if she look up,...don’t you think?

さてさて、今日は、写真を撮ろうとして両手がふさがっている時、猫にカメラの方を向かせる裏ワザを紹介しますw
この写真を見ると、ペッパーは下を向いていますが、私が呼んでいるのを分かっていて上を向いてくれないのです。
私が呼ぶ度びに耳がピクピクするのですが、上は向きません。
箱の中に座ってこっちを向いている姿を写真に撮れたらいいですよね〜

So here is the trick.
When I use this trick Pepper looks up and make cute face.
She wouldn’t look straight though...
I cannot guarantee the other cats will react the same so please do with caution and with your own risk.
Can you tell what I’m doing?
Well, I’m just blowing over my camera (phone) hahaha

そこで裏ワザを使います。
ペッパーはこれをすると、この様に上を向いて、ちょっと可愛い顔をしてくれます。
正面は向いてくれないんですけどね…
全ての猫に通用するか分からないので、その辺は注意してご自分の責任でしてくださいw
私が何をしているかと言いますと、カメラ（スマホ）の上あたりからフーフー息を吹きかけています。
それだけです、笑
