Each week comes with a very nice and interesting contest. I thank you@steemalive for this wonderful contest. To be candid, i have many things to say because first born indeed comes with a huge responsibility. My elder sister don hear nwii. Thank God say i fall for middle.🤣😂😁😀

Do you think the position is best for male or female?

From my own perspective, there is no one that this position that comes with huge responsibility should be tagged on therefore, weather man or woman becomes the first born of the family, he/she should be ready for what lies ahead because it is not an easy one. And if happens that others that comes after are more financially stable, let them as well assist because all fingers are not equal.

What are the advantages or disadvantages of male and female?

Male advantages

• They are the ones to answer their fathers name for ever. Therefore they marry, have kids of their own and extend the family more.
• When parents are no more, they will be the ones at home and future grand pa's and grand ma's. Some build house in family compounds while others have theirs.

Disadvantages

• They focus only on their family and forget they have other ones behind, expecially those that got married to bad wives.
• They forget the most important responsibility which is their aged parents. Though not all.

Female advantages

• Even though they are married, they remember the family and out their interest ahead of theirs. Thats why female are more responsible in remembering their parents despite marriage.

disadvantages

• Her surname automatically changes and she has no right or inheritance from the family she came out from.

Sister wee no like make-up but prefer jewelries

Take a good look at our first born, our special adanne of the house. Her is ugonna Onwuchekwa. She lives in ihieala Anambra state, her husbands home town with her husband and children. She is married for about 11years now with 5kids 2boys and 3girls. She is a nurse by profession with 14years of working experience.

If you take a good look at her very well, you will believe with me that shes just a beauty queen, slim bullet, mother of five , beautiful damsel despite challenges of life. If i tell you her age, you wont believe it, in short beauty runs in our blood😜😜🤣😃🤣😁.

What is so special about her/him?

Hmm, they are too numerous to mention but let me list some;
*she is kind hearted, a woman with heart of gold.
*she is loving and caring
*she loves Jehovah and try her best in his service despite life challenges
*she has a self sacrificing spirit.

How does he or she help your family?

Like i said earlier she has a self sacrificing spirit. To be sincere, she has sacrificed a lot for our family both financially and otherwise despite having a lot of responsibility waiting for her at her matrimonial home. Since she stopped working in the hospital, she engaged herself in other things, and things has not been easy but despite that, she has been helping.

I can recall when my mum was severely sick, she was bleeding from the mouth, nose ear and eye with two kidneys and liver swollen up , my sister was there for us both financially and otherwise.

Sometimes, she will package bag of rice, plaintain, beans, even cash, then she will call any of us to come over and carry them. In short she has be really helpful. She even come despite distance to see how my mum is doing, stay for some days and go back. WHAT A KIND HEARTED SISTER.

How should parents prepare firstborn children ahead of the responsibilities they will face in the family?

Knowing the situation of things, economy of the society and what lies ahead of the first born, parents should try their possible best to give every first born of the family the best education or if it is hand work, let it be a better one and help them open it in a way that will make things easier for them.

This is because when things become easier for the children,especially the first born of the family, things will still be easier for them i.e parents by the time they are aged. Remember that it is when things become easier for them that they will be able to cater for both themselves and you the parents.

He/she cannot give you parents what they dont have.

Conclusion

Weather male or female is the first born of the family, parents please train them because it is still for your own betterment tomorrow when you are aged and cannot do anything.
