Hello! This is my short self- introduction.

Hello steemians! I'm glad to be here and I would like to introduce myself. My name is Alomera. I'm 28 years old from the Philippines.
I am currently working as a part time online ESL instructor.
My hobbies are listening to music, gardening, cooking and traveling.
Due to the pandemic, I decided to return my hometown where it's very far from civilization which is not hard from me though, because I used to living this simple lifestyle. I consider myself as a flexible person because I can easily adjust to new environment. Since I only work for 4 hours a day . I have some time to do extra stuff and I'm always positive on discovering and learning new things.
Fortunately, one of my closest friends @glenicelou27 who is already part of this platform introduced and invited me to join here on "steemit" and hearing all the benefits of it seems like pushing me to try this opportunity and it gives me a positive outlook. I think this is also a great way to broaden the horizons in sharing my interests to people.

Please allow me to share something about my field of work

I've been working in an ESL institutions for several years both online and offline but in my current company we only cater students online and mostly our students are Japanese.
I miss working at the office! It's about a year and a half since I last work in the city. I miss being with my colleagues/friends, eating out, roaming around the city, traveling with them etc. In general, I miss the life in the city.

Life must go on

Definitely! "Life must go on!" and finally, I'm back in my hometown.
At first the nostalgic feeling back when I was in the city has now alleviated and I have more time together with my family, relatives and childhood friends. It brings back the best childhood memories I had with them. I'm still blessed despite the pandemic though. As time goes by,
I kind of doing the old ways in the country I had years back especially life at the farm like planting corn, rice and some vegetables up until the harvest season. I can combine my work online and work at the farm. Life is so simple indeed.!

My life has changed dramatically since the pandemic started. But, we humans have to cope with these changes to continue life.
It's good to embrace the changes because in those ways we can learn something new. We can always choose the things that makes us improved and I am excited to share my interest in cooking, gardening or cultivating plants , traveling as well and my point of view in life generally. Thank you!!!!
