Application for Newcomers by "Vanguard Curators Team" January, 2026

Greeting dear Steemian friends,

Vanguard Curators Team believe the curator's role in supporting the growth of new users represents a significant responsibility that we all have been doing for a long time in one way or the other.

It's an important stage where it's necessary to verify and validate each user's authenticity, as well as review and guide their activity so they add value to the platform. Most new users are genuine, but we meet black sheep as well, and that's where we play our role.

In response to the call by @steemitblog, we have decided to apply to the curation program during the month of January, 2026 to support newcomers.

Here, I introduce you to "Vanguard Curators Team"

3.- Why we make good curation team

Our team has decided to apply as we all are fully aware and committed to the well-being of the platform. Each of us has the ability and experience to guide new users, which we have been doing for a long time in different capacities including part of Newcomer community one way or the other.

We have a clear goal of supporting quality participatory culture by the newcomers and see to it that they understand rules and act accordingly. As we have a plan to include extra tips along with standard tips when we support a newcomer.

• As you asked in your post about handling fake and duplicate accounts

Our team will remain very alert to fake and duplicate accounts and we deal with them accordingly : We catch them, we warn them and if need demands we report them. We know they need guidance so we provide it at every stage.

Most of us have worked in the newcomer community as well as other communities, so we shall maintain proper user databases, record and their style of submissions. This information will be one of our support tools for verifying each user. We also have extensive experience using tools to search for similar text and images.

Our mission will not only be limited to voting up the newcomers, but we shall also provide tips for the assigned accounts. We will motivate them to interact and generate a culture of growth in terms of increasing Steem Power regularly so the user and Steemit both benefit. Our team will remain focused on ensuring the well-being of the platform.

• All of us will try our best to filter out the fake users and done it successfully in our official capacities.
• Everyone on the team is familiar with plagiarism detection, ChatGPT, and how it works.
  During the last year we have seen a rapid growth of new users and we intend to do everything to help them as well as keep platform clean.

I can assure the Steemit team that with our constant vigil on the newcomers we are fully available to support the Steemit curation program promoted by the team during this period.
