First Weekly Report as Steem Representative, 11 April to 17th April 2024
Good Evening,
This is my first weekly report as a newly appointed Steem Representative and my gratitude to the Steemian Team for giving me this opportunity.
When I applied for this coveted post I was sure what I was supposed to do as a Steem Representative and I am trying my best to do the same. I am helping the newbies and visiting them regularly, upvoting the worthy ones and keeping one of them as the beneficiary in one weekly post in my home community the Dream Steem.

I am doing my regular posts as before but as promised I am doing one for the newbies every week along with burnsteem25 so that post is not for personal gain. I used my full vote for this post as a Steem Curator as I saw no support for the post.

Right now I have a contest running that offers access to all Steeminas provided they fulfill the basic needs ie, no AI or plagiarism in Dream Steem Community
As I am committed to supporting the newbies through various methods I set Dearm Steem as one of the beneficiaries that helps different causes including the cause of Newbies. We do not ask anyone to upvote us or keep us as a beneficiary but we support all on an equal basis. I am lucky to have @weisser-rabe as cofounder of this community who is always ready to support Steemians in need.
Last week I participated in five challenges and performed average and engaged in interaction despite having an offline job which consumes a lot of my online time so I have to stay awake late.
On the Steem front, as a moderator of Traveling Steem and Community Curator, I am trying my best to support the right candidates without looking at their country, club, or community. I am proud to say that I support all good posts.
Let me admit there was nothing extraordinary in the first week, as I have been trying to catch the ropes apart from visiting various posts by newbies and regular Steemians to understand and make my further strategy. Special thanks to @wakeupkitty for the legwork she's been doing for me.

In the end, as the post is now called Steem Representative I always think beyond any specific country or community and support everyone on the platform.

Congratulations with your SR function! You must have an awful lot of time or you are just 40x faster (most likely that is the case).
I hope you receive more support to do the job. If it comes to it I ask people to tag you if they read a good post >50
I didn't come too much today but hope to catch up before bedtime.
Thanks for the mention although my legwork wasn't much yet. I am happy you go for the newbies, more Steemians are worried they will give up especially, if the 'just post and get paid well' word is spread.

We've always worked as a team, whether it's Dream Steem or whether we're going to do it as SR. That's exactly the point: no matter how different we are, we stay true to each other and can make a difference together. As long as nobody thinks only of themselves. We rock that!
