SEC-S16W4 | Travel to Another Planet | No other Planet but Earth

I am not so sure there's life on Mars or other planets, but maybe somewhere else in another galaxy. I am an engineer and don't believe in hearsay, so for me, facts don't come from general opinion, and science hasn't proved anything yet. But as you have asked me, here are my facts.

Maybe my facts are different, but then I am a different person. I have my personal reasons to stay on earth. Here are your questions and my answers.

𝔚𝔥𝔦𝔠𝔥 𝔭𝔩𝔞𝔫𝔢𝔱 𝔴𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔡 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔭𝔦𝔠𝔨 𝔣𝔬𝔯 𝔞 𝔱𝔯𝔦𝔭, 𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔴𝔥𝔶?

We have been living on this earth for centuries. Our curiosity to know about other planets has taken us to the Moon. Now scientists are also going to step on Mars. Amidst all this, a few questions come to mind: "Is there life on other planets? Can humans live on other planets in the same way as they do on Earth? How long can humans normally live on other planets?"

Mars

Mars is very cold, but the air there is very thin, so the intensity of the cold will not be as intense as it is felt on Earth at that temperature. To live on Mars, you will need very warm clothes. Here, too, you can stay for as long as you can hold your breath. That means a person can remain alive for only about two minutes. And I want to live for more than two minutes.

First of all, you should know that there is no other planet like ours. Earth is a beautiful place. We have colourful sunsets, breezing seas, beautiful creatures living here, rain, snow—everything is lovely. If compared to any other planet, we have life on Earth, which is one of the best reasons to live here.

According to astronomists, one thing that is most important to go anywhere in the solar system is a spacesuit. Going anywhere in space without a spacesuit would be fatal, so it is very important to wear a spacesuit. On most of these planets, you will be surprised to know that, apart from Earth, there is no other place where you can survive for more than two minutes, even if you wear a spacesuit.

Sun

Let's start with the sun. According to NASA, the temperature of the sun on the surface is about 2.7 million degrees Fahrenheit. It is futile to imagine that you will be able to go to the sun. So Sun is not a good place to go. Every 1.5 millionth of a second, the sun releases enough energy to last the earth for an entire year. You will get roasted just by going close to it. You will vaporize. So the sun is not a good place to go. If anyone comes here, he will not be able to stay for more than a second.

Mercury

The side of Mercury that faces the sun is extremely hot (800 ºF/427 ºC). Whereas the back side of Mercury is frozen with ice, where the temperature remains zero (-179 ºC). If you go to the line between both temperatures, you can survive as long as you can hold your breath. That means one can stay alive here for about two minutes, and I can't hold my breath even for two minutes, so this is not the planet where I am going.

Venus

The temperature of Venus is also 900 ºF (482 ºC). Therefore, here too, the condition of man will be similar to that of going to the sun. However, Venus has the same gravity as Earth, so it could be easy to move around there, but you can only move around there until you get vaporized. No one can last more than a second, so I am not going.

Jupiter

There are different gases on Jupiter, the 'gas giant'. The atmosphere is dry, which is made up of a mixture of hydrogen, helium, methane, and ammonia gas. There is no oxygen on that planet. The planet has no solid surface where anything can survive. It is like a cloud of gases. Therefore, life on Jupiter will not be possible. A person here will die due to the pressure of the gases. At Jupiter also, one cannot live for more than a second. So no way, I am not going anywhere unless they rename a few cities with planets' names.

Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are nothing but spheres of gases, so they are out of my plan. If anyone goes there, he will not be able to survive due to the pressure of the gases. No one can live there for a moment, so I am not going there either.

Earth's atmosphere contains amazing oxygen, water, food, and much more that makes our planet habitable. We are lucky to live here. Humans live comfortably for eighty years or even more, so I will stay here as I have a couple of more years, even if I set my target at eighty.

The owner of the SpaceX Starship rocket and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been saying he will take people to the moon. He could not take his dog—I mean, Dodge Coin—to the moon, so I don't believe him. He said that a starship would be used to send humans to the moon and then to Mars.

Elon Musk thinks his 50-meter spacecraft -Starship is the most powerful rocket in the world. he thinks his Starship rocket, whose main objective is to land astronauts on the Moon by 2026, will also reach Mars in the next five years.

He posted pictures of the Starship rocket, and he keeps saying these are real pictures. But I don't believe him. He can take a U-turn from anywhere, so in case I go with him and he leaves me in the space a few hundred kilometres above and comes back, no way, I am not going with him.

Elon Musk is planning to move at least one million people to Mars, and I challenge him to see if he could take even 10. He promises that humans should be on the moon and cities should be built on Mars. I wish to ask him: There are so many deserts in his area, Africa; why not make some cities in that area with the kind of money he owns?

Why doesn't he think in terms of improving the living standards of our planet? He can develop cities and name them the Moon, Sun, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, etc. If he creates Mars on his continent, I will go to his planet.

I invite @Alegnita, @ripon0630, @Kikenexum, @benoitblanc, and @Hotspotitaly and see how Elon manages this trip. Elon Musk thinks we can do anything we do on Earth. I guess he needs to go to school one more time and study fundamental science before making such tall promises. I don't think the Starship is as powerful a rocket as he thinks, and it could reach anywhere close to Mars with humans or even to the Moon. Naah, I am not going with him.

Friends I wish to live for some more time so Planet Earth is best

First of all, you should know that there is no other planet like ours. Earth is a beautiful place.

You know, as someone who's wandered around a fair bit, I gotta say, Earth's got something special. From the lush forests to the vast oceans, there's a beauty here that just can't be beat. It's like nowhere else I've ever been.

According to NASA, the temperature of the sun on the surface is about 2.7 million degrees Fahrenheit.

Yeah, I've read about NASA's findings on the sun's crazy heat. Reminds me of that time I was out in the desert, feeling like I was baking in an oven! Makes you appreciate Earth's perfect distance from that fiery ball in the sky.

Elon Musk is planning to move at least one million people to Mars, and I challenge him to see if he could take even 10.

Elon's got big dreams, no doubt about it. But as someone who's got loved ones to think about, I can't help but wonder about the practical side of things. I mean, Mars sounds cool and all, but I'd need some serious reassurances before packing up and heading there.

All the best .

I have just replied to another friend Ikwal with my reasons. Do you think it is possible to reach and stay there? Even if they reach Mars, how are they going to survive in those weather conditions? And even if they do, how long? Why waste money for practically nothing when you can make hundreds of Mars and Moons on our own planet? That's what I mean and nothing else.

I believe a part of those pictures made of the moon are in Morocco and some other places on earth so friend E can start there.

I trust his space whatsoever as much as his cars and brainchips but I put my faith in him leaving with his family and giving the example of how to live on the moon (which isn't a planet) and next Mars. I suggest he leaves for at least 5 years to prove that he made it. If he takes those 10 or 100 million with him for company that's fine with me (the more space I have on earth).

P.s. I hope he will not dump his trash in space since his foitprint is extremely high. If he can deliver my regards to 'the man on the moon', that would be awesome.

I loved what you wrote thanks for the good laugh!
Stay safe on earth

Those pictures were probably taken somewhere in a Hollywood studio and some people who did that and are still alive must be laughing at Elon. If he spends half what he is planning to spend on his stupid plan he can create a few planets of his own in... um Morocco is not a bad choice imho.

It's always interesting how money makes the difference if it comes to 'fame' (and giving rediculous names to your children - here they would not allow it and the guy behind the desk his voice counts most) but rare if it comes to make the world a better place. Without money they would have called him 'crazy Maurice' just like Belle's dad (Beauty & the Beast) although that man was smart.

I assume he's packing his bags already I hope he won't forget to keep a diary. Who knows he can send him to the blockchain directly using one of his great inventions. 😁

Hey!

Your knowledge of every topic is impressive. , I agree that there is no better place to live other than Earth, but this place can be even better to live if there was more humanity left in today's people.

Together we all can make this planet more beautiful by being kind to others. Take care.

These are common knowledge so we don;t have to be space scientists to know these facts. However, I wanted to be a little casual so I did it in a light mood but with a message of course! Thank you so much!

Yaa right, I have little interest in Science, so don’t know all these🙈

So true! These rich people will do anything to gain publicity and earn more money. If Mush had spent this money for the welfare of the poor he would set an example for other rich people to follow suit. Thank you for getting my point.

I hope all rich people in the world have thoughts like that so that everyone in this world can live happily

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.

Your point of view as a designer brings a rejuvenating dosage of rationality to the conversation of life past Planet. While the lure of checking out various other earths is obvious it's necessary to ground our supposition in clinical questions and also empirical proof.

Your focus on the need of spacesuits for survival precede highlights the fragile equilibrium in between expedition along with security. Planet continues to be exceptional in its ability to maintain life advising us of the preciousness of our residence globe plus the demand to cherish and also safeguard it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughtful evaluation plus advising us of the marvels of our very own earth in the middle of the enigmas of the universes.

Thanks, this is a contest and you have full right to express yourself and your views. I am sure you must have selected a planet of your choice and enjoyed it in your fantasy! My best wishes.
