What happened to steemit?
Oh yeah now that was one really hard fork. This is the first time I have ever experienced anything like that on steemit.
Yip... steemit became a ghost town, as no one could post and everything was set to 0%. Although this was not the worst hard fork I have been through, it has still been hectic.
I remember one of the HF's that happened last year where the rewards were almost nothing and it took many weeks for it to get back up.
Many people look at me like this when I try to explain it to them... but then when I use the big words to explain it I get this reaction:
So to all those who are still asking..... well here is my answer: Stuff happen all the time, and no one really knows why ;)
All this technology scares and confuses me. The best thing to do is hide until everybody stops posting forks on my feed and I can get back to creeping on bitcoin posts as normal.

Finally everything has been stable now after the HF 20 so no more ghost town feeling hahah : )
Oh @dragonslayer101, 30 years of software development and I have never seen a fiasco like that. It doesn't need to happen. Could you imagine Mastercard or Visa customers standing at the cash for 48 hours or longer waiting to use their card? I was horrified and now I hear it's not the first time. Yikes! I'm glad it's over.
