Poetic Film Review: Committed (2000)

In the world of film, a tale is told
Of a woman committed, brave and bold
Joline, determined to bring her love back
Across the country, on the right track

Her husband Carl, a wandering soul
Finds solace in another's hold
But Joline won't give up the fight
To reunite and make things right

Directed by a woman's hand
But failed to meet critics' demand
Cliches and lack of humor seen
In this romantic comedy scene

Goran Višnjić plays a charming role
But even he can't save the whole
A disappointment in the end
Not even for the loyal fan

So take caution when you seek
For a film that's truly unique
For Committed falls short, it's true
A tale of love that never grew.
