In cosmic voids, where stars do gleam,
A story unfolds, a dream unseamed,
Firefly's final breath, in "The Message" laid,
A legacy immortal, not to fade.

The carnival's call, a world unveiled,
Humanity's quest, in space revealed,
Mutated cow fetus, a symbol stark,
A universe vast, a void that's dark.

Mal's past unveiled, in somber tone,
A war's bitter legacy, a story known,
Tracey's plea, a tragic tale unfolds,
A journey fraught, as darkness holds.

The somber tone, a bittersweet refrain,
As characters entwined, in pain and strain,
The Message shines, a testament to time,
A show's world-building, a tale sublime.

Flaws may linger, humor forced and slow,
Yet the episode's heart, a masterpiece to show,
A poignant end, a legacy to keep,
Firefly's memory, forever to seep.

In "The Message," we find a tale of old,
Of worlds and wars, of lives that grow cold,
A story told, in cosmic light,
A testament to dreams, that take flight.
