And due to this, in the rainy season of the major agricultural season, vegetables are seen in some areas in the rainy season. Considering this aspect, the agricultural scientists of Bangladesh started the study. Similarly, scientists of Rahmatpur Regional Agricultural Research Center in Babuganj, Barishal have achieved tremendous success in one study.

Agricultural researchers here have achieved tremendous success by cultivating various varieties of vegetables in a pilot method of piloting in Rahmatpur Regional Agricultural Research Center, Babunganj, Barisal. Beginning cultivation of vegetables in the experimental method, Rahmatpur Regional Research Center is seeing a huge potential when it starts commercial cultivation.

Chief researcher of floating agricultural research program Dr. Md. Alimur Rahman said that in 2014, this method started the cultivation of vegetables, scientists here. Already, on the field of research, there has been an optimistic yield of sapling vegetables such as cucumber, cauliflower, sweet pumpkin, rice kumar, chichinga, barbati, karla, etc., cultivated in 'landslide bed and plantation methods'. However, the hybrid variety of vegetables in the floating bed is much higher than the local variety.

Chief Scientific Officer of Rahmatpur Regional Agricultural Research Center Dr. Md. Abdul Wahhab said that due to the construction of houses, roads and mills, the land of cultivation is decreasing every year. In the last three decades, almost 3 million hectares of agricultural land has decreased and its continuation continues. In order to ensure food security, vegetables and vegetables have to survive intense competition. As a result of the reduction of agricultural land, it is possible to achieve success in cultivating vegetables in alternative ways.

According to the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council, there are about 3 million hectares of middle low lying land in the country, which is about 21 percent of the country's total land. Due to the effects of climate change, excessive rainfall during monsoon, and the sudden coastal flooding due to the severe flooding of the entire country, water is flooded. Among them, one of the southern and haor areas of the country is one.

Through the research, innovation and expansion of modern farming technologies, waterlogged or fallen lands can be used for crop cultivation. This will increase the overall production of crops which will play an important role in the food and nutrition security of the poorer people in the waterlogged areas of the changed climate.
