These are hard, personal questions that only you can answer.

As for me, I would answer both of these with a yes.

In Steem Monsters I trade cards, do the daily quest usually 5 times a week, make posts for to Steem Monster vote and I am now using Steem-Engine to trade SM card packs.

Maximizing Steem is a bit harder due to the huge price drop (due mostly to Stinc's heavy selling and mismanagement of trust) so I will save that for another day.
