SteemChurch: Entrusted With God's Image
As he passed it one day, he thought it needed correction and, consequently, added a few strokes.
Still, the next day he changed another detail, and again others as time passed by. At last, he had so completely disfigured the original, that in a fit of disgust he tore it to pieces.
But then the painful question arose: How could he ever justify himself in betraying his friend's trust?
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
When we think of stewardship, we often think of material possessions. But the Lord has entrusted us with an even greater gift-his own image. Yet we have disfigured it by sin. What, then, will we answer the Almighty, if the blood of Christ has not blotted out the stains and scars on his handiwork?
And what shall we as Christians say at the last day, if we have not diligently striven to preserve the image, once again restored by God's grace?
We need to always remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully created in God's image. This image must be preserved. We must not allow sin to distort it.
Fine illustration. The painter's friend must have really thought he was modifying the work for the better. We as Christians shouldn't ruin our images.

Thanks Steemchurch for the resteem. Will keep posting quality
We must always seek intimacy with God, that is what makes us turn away from sin, because when we know the heart of the father we will never be the same again, he attracts us with his bonds of love.
Draw close to Him and he will draw even closer to you. His attraction becomes stronger when we get to know him intimately.
Very fine one from you. Been a while I read your works. We all are actually created in God's image. We have to act with that in mind.
Yeah, we have to preserve our image and not distort it with sin.
Well said @druids. Most times we quickly forget things like this. We really have to work with the fact that we are the image of God! Good reminder! God bless you.
Cheers!

Thanks Nosa.
God gave his only son to die for us on the cross so that our sins were forgiven, the greatest love we can have is that of the son and the holy spirit. Blessings friend @druids
