A WORLD OF GOOD AND EVIL

Am most delighted to welcome you great steeemian to my blog today.

Am so happy to participate in this edition of Steemit-virus contest, am actually a first timer hence please don’t expect a very impressive post from a learner like me, but I will still try my best.

Let me start by expressing my profound gratitude to the organizer(s) of this wonderful contest aimed at arousing the creative part of individuals who participant in the contest.

Obviously the above image is mostly seen and used whenever chess and chess game is being talked about. But unfortunately or rather fortunately, I don’t know anything about the chess game, board and how they work, hence am going to interpret the picture based on my view which may or may not be what it represents within the chess game world.

WHAT I SAW

Looking at the picture, I see about 13 human-like images of different sizes standing on a wooden board, each of the images looks slightly different from each other and all of them seems mean and focused their attention towards the same direction.

WHAT I THINK

The board upon which they are standing according to my imagination represents the world, while images represent human beings in the world. The direction all of them are looking at is success.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

In this world, everyone is looking for success. Most people are engaged in many gainful endeavors, while others indulge in all forms of criminality and illegality to make ends meet, but one thing all have in mind is to succeed. The success in this context may include “material success”.
This quest for money and material wealth has plunged the human race to myriads of problems today. The good, the bad and the ugly happens on daily basis in this world, these incidents or events which are at the same time gainful to some and fatal to others.

ARE WE HELPLESS?

No, we are not helpless as evil only thrives when the good keeps quiet over evil. No wonder the good book says “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do”. It is only when the foundation gets destroyed that the righteous becomes helpless and thank God men do not have access to this foundation. Am very pretty sure that there are still many good people in the world today who are still speaking out loud against evil, though their voice may seem negligible but trust me it goes a long way.

CONCLUSION

Coming to the world was a privilege offered to us by the Almighty God and this opportunity came like an open cheque to all. We were given conscience to decipher what is morally right and wrong, it’s this conscience that works to check-mate each individual. Unfortunately, the evil ways seem easier to many especially the youths, they quickly forget the evils could only thrive but for a short time. Many are joining the band wagon without asking or thinking about happens next. Add your voice to stop evil.
