History of the Struggle "Cut Nyak Dhien" ACEH hero figure
HI ......!
Good day and happy today and hopefully today is better than the previous day and certainly the most important health to enjoy this sunny day.
Okay all my friends today will try to share the history knowledge of the aceh war in heroic times cut off the heroic character of nyhi dhien aceh that I quoted from several sources including from the history books I read a few days ago.
Aceh is one of the last areas that can be controlled by the Dutch. The independent Acehnese sultanate is well known. They also have diplomatic relations with America, Italy and Turkey.
The greedy Dutch tried to colonize the sultanate of Aceh by sending their warships in 1873. They assessed Aceh's strategic position to trade in the bustling Malacca Strait.
The Citadel van Antwerpen warship cannon opened a long and bloody Aceh War.
Cut Nyak Dhien was born in 1848 from a prominent family in Lampadang, Aceh Sultanate. His father Teuku Nanta Seutia is a ulubalang who leads several villages.
Little Cut Nyak Dhien was educated with strong Islamic teachings. He married Teuku Ibrahim Lamnga when he was 12 years old.
When the first outbreak of the Aceh War broke out, on 8 April 1873, the Dutch landed on Ceureumen Beach. The army under General Johan Harmen Rudolf Kohler immediately attacked the Great Mosque of Baiturrahman.
Kohler then burned it. According to him, the mosque is the headquarters of Aceh warriors that must be destroyed.
Cut Nyak Dhien was very angry with the Dutch action. He shouted the blasphemy of burning Baiturahman Mosque.
"All believers call the Acehnese see, see you with your eyes Our mosque burns them They fight against Allah Subhanahuwataala Place of destruction God's name looks Remember Do not we forget such pagan minds Is there an Acehnese who likes to forgive the sin of the same pagans? the Acehnese who like to become Dutch kafir slaves? "
Cut Nyak Dhien's anger subsided when her husband returned from the battlefield and reported that General Kohler was shot dead by an Acehnese warrior in the grounds of the Baiturahman mosque.
And then at the end of the history of Cut Nyak Dhien, the Dutch managed to control several areas in Aceh and slowly, one by one the Acehnese warriors could be defeated by the Dutch. Cut Nyak Dhien's position is getting squeezed in the forest. Her illness worsens and makes her almost blind.
Son Cut Nyak Dhien Pang Laot reported the location of his headquarters to the Netherlands because of compassion. He asked the Dutch to treat Cut Nyak Dhien with respect.
The Dutch then attacked Cut Nyak Dhien's headquarters in Beutong Le Sageu. When his troops were defeated, Cut Nyak Dhien spat at Pang laot.
He said it was better to stab his chest rencong to death rather than surrender to the Dutch kafir.
After being arrested, Cut Nyak Dhien was taken to Banda Aceh and treated there. His illness was nearsighted and rheumatism gradually healed.
Cut Nyak Dhien was eventually expelled to Sumedang, West Java, due to Dutch fears that his presence would create a spirit of resistance. In exile he was called Mother of Perdu because of his expertise in religious knowledge. On November 6, 1908, Cut Nyak Dhien died of his age.
That is the brief history of Cut Nyak Dhien's struggle that I read from books and some sources.
