People are spreading covid-19 on their personal party boats

in #politics4 years ago

Business Insider doesn't do a lot of talking about actual business anymore and it appears that instead they have joined the rest of the media mob in talking about Trump as much as possible. The fact that the stories they write have little to nothing to do with business doesn't seem to matter. They enjoy talking about Trump so much in fact, that they will do anything they can to do try to connect the man, or his supporters with anything negative they possibly can, even if there isn't any evidence to suggest that any of their story is actually true.

In a recent rigged story which ignores any information to the contrary of their Democrat agenda, Business Insider "journalist" Hillary Hoffower talks about how Trump supporters are going out in their own boats and "partying" are spreading Covid-19 in massive numbers in Miami.

There are many problems with this story but I will highlight a few of them.

  • The recent discovery about how the clinics in Florida were caught red-handed lying about the percentage of people that are testing positive for Covid (massively misreporting) kind of negates any sort of comments that she makes about Florida's 3rd highest rate in the country - but do you think she mentions that in the article? Of course not! Instead she refers to the spike in cases as being a completely legitimate number that anyone who looks outside of their confirmation bias bubble knows is complete bullshit.

  • She takes an indirect quote from a random person and treats it as fact when said person states "some of these people are having Trump rallies on the water with packed boats and are not social distancing." She treats this as fact despite the very real situation where there is ZERO proof of this being the case. Then she supplies a photo taken over a month ago and uses that as evidence that the people on the boats are indeed, all Trump supporters. Nobody is going to bother to look and find out that this picture she supplies actually isn't from what she is currently talking about.

I don't know much about Miami, where this story is meant to be taking place but could just be anywhere since the quotes may be completely made up and the image definitely is. But Miami is one of the only major metropolitan areas that is more Republican than Democrat, and that must drive Hillary and the people over at left-leaning Business Insider crazy.

This is fake news at its paramount folks and it gets even more tragic. If you look at Hillary Hoffower's past articles she normally has a more neutral tone and seems devoid of extreme political bias. This article, which is clearly a hit piece that has no facts in it at all has seen far greater exposure and I suspect it is because, not in spite of, her devious fake news tactics.

It is saddening to me that this article is the one that is putting her on the map and getting her the most attention. This sort of activity indicates to me that fake news actually does sell and if that is the case, why would journalists ever aspire to telling the truth?

The media proves time and time again that they absolutely can not be trusted. They are as Dan Bongino said, full-time activists now.

Hillary, you seem to have gone over to the dark side. When i look at your backlog of articles you seemed to have been an actual journalist for a while but have succumbed to the pressures to write doom and gloom pieces without any real information. You have gone from being an actual reporter to being just another face in the crowd of NPC liars... and this makes you and the publication you write lies for....

The thing is that I think all of this is for naught. I don't think anyone is changing their minds about who they are going to vote for... the online battle of words has been too heated and there isn't really any amount of fake news or even real news that can change that. It is pretty despicable for journalists to continue down this very tired path though.
