WHAT IS CONFESSION
The open admittance of having done something especially of something bad.

WHY WE MUST CONFESS
It helps to prepares the way for reconciliation and fellowship.(James 5:16)"Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]." it also helps to makes success possible because after confession we will receive mercy .(proverbs 28:13)"He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins will obtain mercy.it open our heart and prepares the way for forgiveness.(1john 1:9)" If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].it prepares the way for worship.(Nehemiah 9:3)"And they stood in their place and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for a fourth of the day, and for another fourth of it they confessed and worshiped the Lord their God."
