Humidifying humidifier humidifies

Recently my son has became sensitive to dry air inside his bedroom caused by the AC, enough to trigger a coughing fit in the middle of the night. To alleviate his condition we ordered a small humidifier which arrived today.

Forgive the dodgy english spelling on the box. If you buy enough products made by China companies you are almost learning a whole new language.

The product itself is about 12cm in diameter, so it doesn't really occupy a lot of space, ideal for a small bedroom. We had another humidifier before which was positively large and quite a bit more sophisticated but 5x more expensive too. That lasted about 2 years before it started to make a racket during operation and we had to retire it into the dustbin.

This new one has a rather low-rent material and build quality, but for something that's around RM35 ($8 USD) that is par for the course.

Lastly, it also has a built in night light function with 7 different light colours! Something that is utterly useless to us.

Let's hope this will last at least a year of nightly usage.
