Paksiw na Pata
Paksiw na pata (pork stew in vinegar). A Filipino style of cooking. "To cook and simmer in vinegar".
As me and my friends were playing video games, we got hungry so I prepared this dish for them.
Ingredients:
2 kilos pork hocks
5 pieces taro
1 onion
5 garlic cloves
1 tbsp Black pepper
200ml vinegar
Salt
Instructions:
- Put pork in large pot, heat to boiling. Simmer pork until soft.
- Add taro boil until it becomes soft and water is sticky.
- Put vinegar, onion, garlic, black pepper and salt to taste.
- Let it boil for a 3-5 minutes then serve.
