How to lose 7218 Ethereum (Around 72,180 $) in a compromised ETH wallet/PC transaction
Beware of using unsecured system with crypto-currencies
Losing 72,180 Dollars in a blink of an eye can be devastating for anyone.
This is one of the latest news about people losing substantial amount of money over cryptocurrencies (this time through ETHEREUM Wallet use) by having an unsecured and/or compromised system to do the transactions.
An Ethereum user who would like to take part on the ongoing DAO creation tried to sent his ETHs and lost them. He is certainly familiar with the use and the usual safety precautions concerning cryptocurrency wallets use, as shown by his trial transaction of sending 1 (one) Eth first to DAO creation address: 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413, which went thru without any glitch.
Much to his unpleasant surprise, the next transaction worth 7,218 ETH went to another address which is intended to be sent to the same address as the first 1 ETH that made it to its proper destination.

This is a sad and cautionary tale that everyone can be a target of hackers. Please read up on how to mitigate unsecured system, wallets and human interactions. It is always better to be safe than sorry.
Reading that thread is frustrating, he needs to hash his client files vs. a fresh downloaded one.
Someone suggested to but he ignored it.
