Acting Regent of Bireuen Opens Dissemination of Stunting Case Audit Phase II.
Acting Regent of Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Jalaluddin, SH MM, opened the Dissemination of Stunting Case Audit Phase II activity held by the Community Empowerment, Mukim, Gampong and Family Planning Service (DPMGPKB), Monday (4/11/2024) morning at the Oproom Setdakab.
The activity was combined with the signing of the minutes of the Dissemination of Stunting case audit phase II and the presentation of awards for the implementation of the stunting case audit activity, namely Azhari as the representative of the participants, dr. Athailah, SpOG expert team.
The best AKS implementer for the stunting case audit activity phase II was the best I Juli District, the best II Pandrah District, the best III Jeumpa District. The best Stunting Case Audit (AKS) implementer for the eastern region was the best I Peusangan Siblah Krueng Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS), the best II Peusangan Selatan, the best III Gandapura.
The chairman of the implementing committee and also the Head of the Bireuen Regency DPMGPKB, Ir Mukhtar, MSi in his report said that the intent and purpose of this activity was to convey the results of the stunting audit case study which were recommendations for specific and sensitive interventions and preventive interventions needed according to the results of the study based on the target group being audited.
The implementation of the 2024 cycle II stunting case audit began with potential identification and case selection activities carried out from 13 to 21 August 2024 in 17 sub-districts. As a result, the district technical team has collected 84 working papers based on cases that were audited.
Consisting of 2 cases of prospective brides, 20 cases of pregnant women, 2 cases of postpartum women, 26 cases of babies under two years old (Baduta) and 34 cases of babies under five years old (Balita). Of the 84 cases, the technical team selected 2 cases in each target for in-depth analysis by the expert team.
Later, it will produce recommendations for handling procedures for each auditee, he explained.
Regional Secretary Dr. Ir. Ibrahim Ahmad, MSi said, thank God Bireuen has just received fiscal incentives from handling stunting of approximately IDR 5.4 billion, and this is an extra for everyone, especially the sub-district heads, which is currently being processed and must be implemented at the end of this year. "We hope to be better in the future," he said.
The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin, among others, hopes that this audit can help reduce stunting rates with a more structured, focused, and sustainable approach. On the other hand, the audit of stunting cases is also considered necessary to be disseminated.
The goal is to increase awareness and understanding, disseminate information about the causes and risk factors for stunting to stakeholders, including the community, health workers, related parties, so that they can better understand the importance of stunting prevention and intervention, he said.
"I ask the Bireuen Regency stunting reduction acceleration team (TPPS), sub-district TPPS and village TPPS and other stakeholders to improve coordination and collaborate in making efforts to accelerate stunting reduction," hoped the Acting Regent.
