Bireuen Government Holds Nuzul Quran Commemoration at Sultan Jeumpa Grand Mosque.
Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) through the Islamic Sharia Service, held a Nuzulul Quran commemoration which took place after the Isha, tarawih and witir prayers, Sunday, 16/3/2025 evening at the Sultan Jeumpa Grand Mosque, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province.
The activity was attended directly by the Regent and Deputy Regent, H Mukhlis, ST and Ir Razuardi, MT elements of Forkopimda, heads of SKPK and hundreds of mosque congregations, the committee presented a speaker Dr. Tgk Misran Fuadi, SAg MAP (Rais Syuriah PCNU Lhokseumawe City).
Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis, ST in his remarks said that Nuzulul Quran is a great event that marks the revelation of the Quran as a guide to life for mankind. A light for dark hearts, and a guide for those who want to find the path of truth.
The night the Qur'an was revealed became the beginning of a major change in human civilization. The Qur'an is not just a holy book that is read, but also a source of legal inspiration, and guidance for us in living our lives, both as individuals and as part of society, he said.
On that occasion, the Regent also invited all Bireuen people to love the Qur'an even more. "Let us make this Nuzulul Qur'an commemoration a momentum to increase our worship, deepen our understanding of the holy book.
Practicing its teachings in everyday life. Hopefully, with our closeness to the Qur'an, Bireuen Regency will always be under the protection and blessings of Allah SWT," he said.
Regent Mukhlis also said that the Bireuen Regency Government appealed to the entire community, especially parents to always look after and supervise their children so that they do not get involved in bad and dangerous activities.
Every holy month of Ramadan, illegal racing is rampant, to the entire community to be able to advise their children not to do illegal motorcycle racing.
"The impact of this illegal racing is not only able to disturb the order of society in worshiping in the holy month of Ramadan, this is also to protect the safety of our children," he appealed.
