Bireuen Regency Government Holds Takbir Parade for Eid al-Fitr 2025.

The Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab), Aceh Province, through the Islamic Sharia Service (DSI) held a Takbir Parade to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri – 2025 AD.

This year's Eid al-Fitr takbiran parade started in the yard of the Al Munawarah Mosque, Teupin Siron, Gandapura District, Sunday night, (30/3/2025).

Then the takbiran parade procession headed to the western region, precisely in Batee Iliek (the border between Bireuen Regency and Pidie Jaya Regency) Samalanga District, and finished in the yard of the Bireuen Pendopo, Kota Juang District.

The release of the parade participants was carried out by the Regent of Bireuen H. Mukhlis ST accompanied by the Deputy Regent of Bireuen Ir. H. Razuardi, MT was marked by beating the drum in turns.

The Bireuen Regency Takbiran parade procession used hundreds of four-wheeled and six-wheeled vehicles from SKPK, Forkopimda Plus elements, Sub-district Heads, Village Governments, Mass Organization elements, OKP elements and community elements.

Bireuen Regent Mukhlis in his speech wished a Happy Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri and apologized physically and mentally to the people of Bireuen Regency.

"On behalf of the Regional Government, we express minal aidin walfaizin, apologize physically and mentally, Happy Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri," he said.

This Eid al-Fitr takbir parade activity is a routine activity that is carried out every year to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

He continued, it has been a month of carrying out the Ramadan fasting in peace, until we reach tonight, the night of victory, the natural night or what is commonly called the night of Eid al-Fitr, the night awaited by all Muslims.

Starting from after the Maghrib prayer, everyone together chants takbir, tahlil and tahmid glorifying the greatness of Allah SWT, both in the prayer room and in the mosques.

"Let's celebrate this Eid al-Fitr with great simplicity and without reducing the value and essence of Eid al-Fitr itself," he said.

Visiting relatives, friends and relatives as is our common custom on this natural day.

"Alhamdulillah this year we celebrate Eid al-Fitr in a safe, peaceful and calm condition," he said.

Avoid unnecessary activities that have the potential to disrupt the comfort and security of the environment, such as setting off firecrackers, recklessly riding motorbikes on the highway, drinking alcohol and drugs.

Let's strengthen communication, coordination and collaboration between the government, religious leaders, community leaders and the wider community to contribute to each other.

For the common good in order to realize Bireuen Regency as a Santri City that is civilized by Islamic Sharia and a city that is Thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur.

"For the sake of Islamic Bireuen, advanced and sustainable," said Mukhlis.
