Bireuen Regent Attends Simultaneous Rice Harvest with the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto carried out a simultaneous rice harvest in 14 provinces in Indonesia which took place on Monday (7/4/2025) morning, the location was centered in Majalengka, West Java Province.

Meanwhile, the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen, H Mukhlis, ST together with Ir H Razuardi, MT, elements of the Forkopimda, heads of departments, Muspika, agricultural extension workers, stakeholders, watched via zoom in the rice fields of Gampong Jangka Alue, Jangka District.

The Head of the Bireuen Agriculture and Plantation Service, Mulyadi, SE MM at the location explained that today's simultaneous harvest activity was held according to instructions from the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The event was directly attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto which was centered in Majalengka, West Java Province. In Aceh, it is centered in all districts/cities, in Bireuen Regency, the location is Jangka District with a standard area of ​​820 hectares of rice fields that will be harvested in the April rendeng season, he said.

It was also conveyed that in Bireuen, the area of ​​rice fields that will be harvested in April reaches 2,000 hectares, including in Kuala District 300 hectares, Peulimbang 100 hectares, Gandapura 200 hectares, in Makmur 200 hectares and in other districts.

In order to achieve food self-sufficiency, the Head of the Agriculture and Plantation Agency hopes that farmers for the 2025 Gadu planting season/(MT) Gadu, ready to harvest, go directly to the rice fields to cultivate the land, sow seeds, and replant rice.

"To farmers and farmer groups whose rice fields are irrigated and pumped, we hope that they will be ready to harvest rice this April, so that they can immediately go down to the rice fields again to cultivate the land, sow seeds, plant rice again, so that they can harvest in October 2025," he hoped.

Regarding the results of the rice tuber test carried out by officers from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bireuen Regency, the rice harvest located in Jangka Alue reached 9.2 tons/hectare, said Kadistanbun Mulyadi.

Meanwhile, in the series of harvests, Regent H Mukhlis accompanied by Alsintan operators also harvested rice using a Combine Harvester which was attended by the Deputy Regent, Ir H Razuardi, Dandim 0111 Bireuen, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Ade Munandar, SIPem witnessed by all attendees.
