IM Military Commander Plants Hardwood and Fruit Trees as Part of TMMD 123.

In order to support the greening and environmental sustainability program, the Commander of the Iskandar Muda Military Command (IM Military Commander), Major General Niko Fahrizal, M.Tr.(Han), carried out planting activities for hardwood and fruit trees as part of the 123rd TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) in 2025 in the Kodim 0111/Bireuen area. This activity took place in Meunasah Pulo Village, Peudada District, Bireuen Regency. Thursday (20/03/2025).

This tree planting aims to improve environmental quality, prevent erosion, and provide long-term benefits for the surrounding community. The types of trees planted include mahogany, rain trees, and various fruit trees such as mango, durian, and rambutan which are expected to provide economic benefits for residents in the future.

In his speech, Pangdam IM said that this activity is part of the TNI's efforts to support nature conservation and improve community welfare.

"Planting trees is not just planting, but also a long-term investment for the future. With these hardwood and fruit trees, the environment will be greener, the air cleaner, and can provide economic benefits for residents," said Pangdam IM.

This activity also involved elements of the TNI, local government, and local communities. Residents were very enthusiastic and committed to caring for the trees that had been planted so that they could grow well and produce results in the future.

With this greening program, it is hoped that the villages targeted by the 123rd TMMD can become greener, more beautiful, and provide sustainable benefits for future generations.
