How much money should a blogger invest in Steem Power? I did the math!

Steem used to be an uncensored, decentralized platform - until Justin Sun bought Steemit and used its stake to become a dictator, handpicking the witnesses, censoring posts and stealing balances. That's why I removed this post and started blogging on Hive. You can still read all my posts there.

Of course friend I will buy steem with the salary I have in Venezuela that is double the minimum wage and I will delegate SP, here the minimum salary is 2 dollars, I earn 4 dollars a month. How much time do I need to help you invest? As you can see it would be impossible for a common Venezuelan to invest so you should upvote this comment.

Write more about your own personal experiences and you should just resteem other contests and groups occasionally, in my opinion. Otherwise your feed starts to look too cluttered, and people are interested to hear about your actual experiences especially when it's from someone in an area such as where you live.

Thanks for your recommendation, I'll keep it in mind. The good thing about steemit connects us all.

Well, the calculation starts with the wage that you'd get, so the investment would be lower than my number. But I want to be honest with you, I'm not going to pretend that everyone has the same chance to be successful here. Good luck!

I know, @edb but it's the same in every business. steemit is still a good option for Venezuelans but it is unlikely that they will invest in steempower. that is, they depend on their content being of very good quality and their ability to relate via the web.

Don’t forget to also consider opportunity cost. For example, is it better to blog/curate or get a job burger flipping and just use the proceeds from your job to buy Steem Power?

Good point, I'll have to think about that. Take into account that blogging is more fun than flipping burgers for most people. Or at least for people who are blogging here. Of course, I ignored the option of not using Steem at all on purpose.

Edit: isn't the opportunity cost included in the hourly wages?

so @inertia what u think wat is the best way to incresing steem power?
can i invest after inceresd the power or work continuosly?

I just skimmed through and I intend to come back to read at ease, but it does sound interesting. Resteemed, as many of my follower could use this to get more consistent!

Thanks for resteeming!

@dragosroua i am also ur follower how can we give better considtency on steemit and through this how can we earn kindly tell
your one support help him to poor people bcz i m here for helping poor people through this platform
thanks budy

The power of math! It's always good to run the numbers for a fresh perspective. Thanks for taking us through your process.

Very interesting post! I think I need to read it again later today to make the most out of it, since I'm on a time-limit right now.

good information for newbies, what i have noticed is most of the company supports and give good service and income to big investors, they don't care about newbies and less income investors. it's good to support and encourage newbies and ppl with less capital good returns crypto market grow healthy, for now since a lot of amauter stupid greedy businessmen and scammers are running crypto market new ppl are quitting crypto what should happen in 5years itl take 15years. hope more bussiness like steemit comes to market and give positive and equal approch to all

Did you buy Steem yourself based on the conclusions of this post?

Personally I found it a pretty complex approach. Although you surely have a fair point. At least most people believe that having SP helps to build an account including active followers and financial rewards.

I do have simple question, don't you think it is important to use all your upvotes? Otherwise you can calculate the ideal amount of SP bit of you don't use it, it doesn't make sense?

As I said, sometimes you simply don't have the money you need. I'll power up the rewards from this post.

Yeah, using your voting power is important, of course. There are strong incentives for automatic voting and for voting on your own posts and comments only, so it's hard to recommend voting behavior that's ethical and makes sense financially.

I was actually hinting at the fact that your own VP was 100%.....

This post has received a 9.69 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @edb.

how can we use this booster@

Fantastic post but I just found it! So one of the obvious problems with steem that has a tremendous impact on your calculations is the economic life of your work. Everywhere else in the media world creators can earn residuals. If there work is popular this could mean a lifetime of income. On steemit 7 days. Big problem!!! I did write a post about why authors should not be afraid to repost content! Update and repost old material. It’s important to the community to have good content and it’s your work. You should keep making money from it if people want to read it!

@ edb thanks buddy for gaving me such a goodd calculation regarding steem power incresed actully i mnew at this platfrom so as u r experince in steem what should be better for incresing steem power ?
