Hello Guys.

This is Prabhjot Singh from INDIA.
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing well.

Started my week with a misfortune

I came back from the office on Friday and saw my friends playing Volleyball. I joined them for a game but after that game, they went to their homes as the sunset. Some of the kids were still playing and I joined. I was trying to block the smash of the kid but he hit my hand instead of the ball. It started pain in my thumb and I went home. I had dinner and put some spray on my hand and tied cloth and laid down.

The next morning, I found my hand was swollen from the thumb area and I was unable to move my thumb. The pain was getting unbearable so I went to an Ayurvedic Orthopedic. I always go to them whenever I broke some part of my body.

The first thing I see, was the same Old man, wearing a turban with pictures of saints hanging on the wall and a 5*5 feet small room and hundreds of stories to hear from. I call him pappa g, This is what we call our grandfathers or forefathers or old men in Punjabi with affection.

There was no rush so I jumped inside his small arrangement. First, he applies a special red color oil which he prepares from different herbs & oils. Then, he massages with a soft hand while talking to you. He told me that my muscles were torn but luckily my thumb was on point. He does something with his hands that feel magic.

After he massages my hand he covers a cotton strap with the same red oil and put it on my hand and then another cotton strap with MASALA(specially prepared paste from different herbs and nuts) and then he puts it on the first one. I felt warmth on my hand as the paste was so hot. It was not prepared on fire but something in the ingredients that gives you heat just like healing sprays cool your hand.

When your hand actually looks like 2.5-kilo ka hath but is lifeless in reality

I went to the office afterward and perform my duties. The next day, I went shopping with my not so cool looking hand. I'd to lift the groceries with my right hand and other works too with my right hand. so, I felt my right-hand muscles looking bigger than the left. I decided to do some exercise on my left hand. Did some exercise with the help of an Iron Barbell.

The Man who Loves his Mother

I continued the bandaging without any leave. I went to Jalandhar the next day after completing my work. I met Mr. Ajit from Delhi. He is a stationary store owner and I asked him multiple questions on our way back to Amritsar. He told me his back story about how his family moved to Delhi from Uttar Pradesh.

The hardships he tackle in life and at last he gave me only one piece of advice. He said, My mother was diagnosed with high blood pressure and she passed away 2 years ago. he spent around 36 lakhs on his mother's hospital expenses and till the very end he never give up on his mother. he was in debt and his mother's last words were Stay happy my son, I will pray for you from above.

He says never leave your Mothers hand for anyone and always respect and love your mother. You will get a wife whom you can love, a daughter who will give you love but you'll get your mother. her love is unconditional. she is a Goddess in the Human Body. I saw tears in his eyes while he says that but he controls himself. I never have had such an interaction with a 40+ man. Later, he told me about his son. One is in Matriculation and we discussed different career options for him.
