Hello steemians, come back with me with @egner with a post about small insects that are interesting and beautiful for sure. for today's photo I will share some photos of types of insects that are green and like to disturb farmers' plants.
When it is called the word walang sangit, who knows if this insect is emitting (smell) and it is true that this insect emits a distinctive odor, the distinctive smell radiates as a form of self-defense, if you feel threatened from predatory attacks.
Walang sangit itself is a pest in rice cultivation and is found in almost all rice cultivation areas in Indonesia. Insects belonging to the hemiptera group also attack every season, both rainy and dry seasons.
However, some farmers are not too concerned about the existence of this pest because the impact of the damage caused is that small farmers will be more afraid if they find stem planthoppers, especially rat pests on their agricultural land.
