Pineapple are tropical fruit and despite their sweetness, they are low in calories. Pineapple is an herbaceous perrenial fruit that grows up to 3.3 to 4.9feet tall with stocky short stem and tough leaves. The best health benefits of pineapple are:

  1. Boost immune system.
    Pineapple contains all the recommended daily value of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a water - soluble antioxidant that fights cell damage and boost the immune system.

  2. Improve vision and eye health.
    Macular degeneration usually leads to blindness in some cases as people grow old. Pineapple is very rich I'm vitamin C and antioxidant that decreases the risk of macular degeneration and improves the eyesight on both children and adults.

  3. Aids in digestion.
    Pineapple contains high amount of dietary fibres that AIDS digestion and according to people who consumes pineapple juice on a daily basis barely have digestive complications.

  4. Bone strength.
    Pineapple may keep you standing tall and strong because it contains 75% of the daily-recommended value of the mineral and manganese which helps to build strong bones and connective tissues.

  5. Reduction of blood clot.
    Pineapples helps reduce excessive coagulation of blood. Because of pineapple bromelain levels, pineapple is a good snack for the reduction of the risk of both clots.

  6. Antiinflammatory benefits.
    The bromelain inside pineapple reduces inflammation, reduces tumor growth and also reduces osteoarthritis.

  7. Prevents Cancer.
    According to studies and research, the richness of flavanoids, bromelain, beta carotene, vitamin A and antioxidants, pineapple prevents throat, mouth and breast cancer.

SIDE EFFECTS OF PINEAPPLE.

  1. Allergy.
    Excessive consumption of pineapple can lead to allergic reactions in few persons because of its "meat tendering" properties. These allergies could be: swelling on the lips and tingling sensation in the throat.

  2. Blood sugar levels.
    Becaise of the sweetness(sugar) levels, pineapples have been found to heighten blood sugar levels.

  3. Intake of pineapple ledd to toothpain and sensitivity when taking hot or cold foods.

  4. The extremely high amounts of bromelain in pineapple can cause skin rashes, vomiting, diarrhea and excessive menstrual bleeding.

In Conclusion.
When was the last time you ate a pineapple? Okay. Let me put it this way. How often do you eat pineapples. Pineapples are also fat-free, cholesterol-free and low in sodium. Not surprisingly, they do contain sugar, with 16 grams per cup. Pineapples are very beneficial for our health because it contains sinapic acid, ferulic acid, vanillin, syringic acid, gentisic acid and galic acid. Additionally it also contains arbutin, tyramine, chavicol, myricentin and chlorogenic acid.
