🍄 Amanita Muscaria
The ancient shamanic use of amanita muscaria in siberia is well documented. By drying them in the sun the toxic substances were mostly destroyed by UV-light. During the ceremony the shaman was used as a human filter, so the others participants of the ritual drank the urine of the shaman to join the ritual. this urine was highly psychoactive but without any toxicity, cleaned out and filtered by the shamans kidneys.
This Amanita Muscaria is already partially eaten by snails. Snails, flies and russian shamans love this mushroom.
Many books exist about amatitia muscaria and early myths about Thor, Wotan and "Santer Claus" are connected to Amanita Muscaria. Indeed there are many myths about

Santa, the Siberian Reindeer Shaman
For millenia it has been used by siberian shamans.
I have so much respect that I do not touch this mushroom. Be aware they are toxic to your kidneys if not used properly including severe side effects. the shaman hangs the fresh fungi to dry in the branches of trees (looking like the colorful ornaments that decorate the Christmas tree).

I prefer the Psilocybe semilanceata for exploring time and space.

The are non toxic and easier to use. They are the most potent and least toxic of all psylocybe variants.
And they grow all around my house every september.
