Raindrops Keep Fallin'............. NW Cascade Wanderings

Yes folks, it’s another rainy day here in the PNW. We started our day at church. Worship was awesome as usual as well as the sermon. They announced afterwards that there would be a ‘tailgate party’ for all newcomers to the church. We are one of those so we attended after the service. We were greeted by many of the church staff, treated to nachos and cheese and given church t-shirts. See @silvertop’s post for a pic of the t-shirt. It was a nice time of fellowship and although the Super Bowl was on the TV, I didn’t notice anyone paying attention to it. We also caught up with some folks we’d not seen in years.

Once home @silvertop suggested a trip to Costco for my almond and coconut milk I consume and whatever else we needed. You can tell that spring is on the minds of everyone. Costco has DIY greenhouses and the display model was seeing a lot of action. Then, @silversaver, I saw these. Ever think about changing the color of your favorite birdie? 😎👍

When we were done there, we set out for our favorite coffee shop in Lynden.

While there, I spied an older Shore Pine and went to investigate it. I’ve seen it before but hadn’t really looked at it if you know what I mean.

That’s gonna be it for today. I’ve got 10 pounds of coffee to roast tomorrow for a couple of customers and should do a little clinic work as well. It’s unclear as to whether I’ll have to work on Tuesday as the doc’s mom was in a car accident last Thursday. She’s got a bit of healing to do.
