FOLLOW GOD'S ADVICE: TAKE CARE OF YOUR MIND, CONTROL YOUR MOUTH!

Joshua 1: 8
This book of the law will never depart from your mouth, but day and night you will meditate on it, so that you can keep it and do according to everything written in it; because then you will prosper on your path and everything will be fine for you.
The key to success and prosperity in everything we undertake in life has its secret and is to keep and do what is written in the Word of God.
Keep in mind that the Lord tells Joshua that if he wants to prosper on his way and see that everything is going well, then he must fulfill and do according to everything that is written in the book of the law.
The human mind or brain is the glorious power of retaining the wisdom so important that it comes from God. The human intellect helps us retain the valuable advice that comes from God and gives us the possibility to meditate on them throughout the day. Constantly meditating on the Lord's commandments helps us to be ready to put his advice into practice in the different situations of life. Having the practical advice of the Word of God gives us the advantage of speaking what God commands us to speak. God advises us that there are always victories in him. Defeat is not found in the vocabulary of God. For God there are no difficult enemies, therefore, trusting fully in the Word of God we can use the same vocabulary that David used to defeat Goliath.
We must control the words that come out of our mouth. We cannot speak of defeat because that is what we are going to reap, since in our mouth there is great power for both life and death.
If you speak defeat, you will see defeat in your path. If you say victory, you will be a powerful warrior and victor in the hand of God.
The Lord knew that Joshua had to face difficult and complex situations. Having to distribute the promised land to the children of Israel was a completely challenging process, as it had to face the powerful nations that occupied the promised land.
The Lord wanted to prepare Joshua to have the courage to face all his enemies. God advised him to keep his mind occupied with the commandments he had given him and to keep his mouth away from the negative words that might arise. In this sense, the Lord instructed Joshua to keep the Word in his mouth and mind, not in the problem.
Like Joshua, if you and I made our way prosperous and triumphed in this life, we would definitely have to put our thoughts and words into something more than the problem that arises. We have to stop thinking about the problem, stop talking about the problem and even stop praying for the problem sometimes. It is only necessary to put in our mind the thoughts of God to be able to speak with our mouth the thoughts of God and bring down the problem that we have to face.
When he talks about the problem, he runs the risk of magnifying it and making it so big that it seems too small in front of him, and this can cause his defeat. However, when you take authority over the problem using what God says in his Word, this guarantees victory.
Remember that the Lord Jesus told his disciples that to move a mountain from one place to another you just needed to have faith. That is what the Lord wanted to teach Joshua, no matter how big the problem is, if not, the confidence that through his word we must develop for God to give us victory, and we can tell a problem that is defeated. in Christ. Jesus.
So, dear brother, if we want to be victorious and blessed in our journey with Christ, we must trust in the Word of God and meditate on it day and night so that we always have the support of the Lord.
Okay, very true @elpastor, "The key to success and prosperity in everything we undertake in life has its secret and is to keep and do what is written in the Word of God." Certainly this is what allows us to have blessings from God in our lives. DTB
