Let us praise our God for his word and providence.
Praise to God is the response of our gratitude for all the blessings and mercies of the Lord for all of us. Before creating man, God anticipated in creating all the things that man would need to live. In gratitude for God's providence we sing him soft and beautiful praises.
Praise to the LORD,
For it is good to sing psalms to our God;
For praise is sweet and beautiful. Psalm 147: 1 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)

God, in his providence, controls and governs the universe. The laws, rules and norms that the universe requires for its harmonious functioning come from God. The Lord anticipated in his perfect design, so that nothing would be lacking in creation.
God endowed the universe with everything necessary for life and its functioning.
Creation is full of God's blessings and mercies for every living being.
The blessings and benefits we receive from God lead us to give the Lord a soft and sweet praise.
God is the one who fills the heavens with clouds and adorns them with gray clouds, to prepare rain for the earth and for it to produce the grass necessary for the maintenance of the beasts of the field, with which the human being is also fed. All this represents the love, mercies and blessings of God for all creation.
God's providence leads us to sing and exalt the name of our God, for all the things foreseen in creation to facilitate the life of every creature.
Sing to the Lord with praise,
sing to our God with the harp.
8 It is he who covers the heavens with clouds,
He prepares rain for the earth,
He makes the mountains bring forth grass.
9 He gives the beast his food
and to the sons of ravens that cry out. Psalm 147: 7-9

God not only gives us the sustenance for life, but also watches over our health and care. God is our healer. Every broken heart the Lord restores and binds up every wound. God comforts us and watches over our perfect health. In response to God's blessing, we worship and praise him. We sing to our God and rejoice in Him for His abundant and flourishing mercies.
Heal the brokenhearted,
and bind up their wounds.
4 He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power;
And his understanding is infinite. Psalm 147: 3-5

God's pleasure in creation is not in the strength of a beast nor in the intelligence and agility of men, but God is pleased with those who fear the name of our God.
The soft and beautiful praise that pleases God comes from the lips of those who have confessed Christ as their personal Savior. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. The church of the Lord is composed of God-fearing men who praise and exalt His holy name.
He delights not in the strength of the horse,
nor does he delight in the agility of man.
11 The Lord delights in those who fear him
and in those who hope in his mercy.
12 Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem;
Praise your God, O Zion. Psalm 147: 10-12

We praise God not only for his providence, but also for his love in giving us his word to order and organize our lives. The word of God went forth from Jerusalem and traveled throughout the earth to bring the message of hope and salvation to all humanity. God's word contains the good news of salvation for humanity.
Those of us who have received God's word can testify to the changes and transformations it has made in our lives. We praise God and sing to him for the favor and love received through his word.
He has revealed his words to Jacob,
His statutes and his judgments to Israel.
20 He has not done so to any other of the nations;
And as for his judgments, they have not known them.
Alleluia. Psalm 147:19-20
