The Groan: Original Art by my Son!!

Allow me, fellow Steemians, to post a kid's drawing on my virtual Refrigerator! :-D

The story is this....
My children and I had been home for hours. We had already eaten dinner and I am walking into the living room and almost step on this artwork.

So, I callout (read: yell) "hey, who's drawing is this on the floor?"
My youngest son, who is 9, replies that it is his. I ask him about it, and this is what he tells me:

We were doing an art project, studying a painting by Edvard Munch, called The Scream. The famous artist drew three people: two men standing on a bridge and a woman who looks kind of weird cuz she had no hair, screaming and there's a lake and there's a boat and there's a couple trees but that's pretty much all.

So it gave me the idea to do this. And also, the teacher told me to give him some crazy hair!

Well, I like it and think he did a really good job. And I think it's funny that it is titled "The Groan".

So I asked him if I can showcase it on Steemit and he said "sure."

Then I also promised him to buy him a treat(or put into savings) with anything I earn from it.... he just shrugged his shoulders. 8-/

This is one of the joys of being a parent: seeing the creativity or production of one of your children.
