There are a few mistakes people make in business
that are capable of hampering effective sales.

1). Selling to people who needs the product but can't buy

These are persons that need a product but can't buy either because they don't have the authority in deciding what to buy or they can't afford it. Let me explain further.
Do you know why big brands have products like biscuits, milk, and the likes that are sold for #10 and others at a higher price? It's because of this set of persons.
Advertising a product to a child whose parents still buy things is an executive waste of time.

Selling plastic juice of #150 to a school where the student can only afford sachet water of #20 and doughnut of #50 is a waste of time.

Hence, if you have a thousand naira products, look for those with a thousand naira.
If you have a product worth millions, pitch your sales around the millionaire.

2). Selling to those who can buy but don't need it.

Consider a scenario where babies product isadvertised to an unmarried lady or man.
As much as she would admire the beauty of the product and can afford them, the fact remains she does not need the product, yet.

Therefore, if you have a product, identify who is in dire need of it, then sell it to them.

3). You give out the wrong message

As much as we don't want to judge a book by its cover, I believe you know first impression matters.
How can you tell me you are a professional when you don't look it.
You must understand that every buyer is selfish. It is non of his business the stress you took to arrange or organize anything, if you don't look it, forget it.

You need to prove yourself somehow.
Your product should be attractive.
The packaging should make sense.
Your perceived value matters.

Thanks for your time
